As Founding Force interns, we were fortunate to be part of this mission, embarking on a journey that not only exposed us to the exciting world of entrepreneurship but also nurtured an environment for learning and exploration. From the outset, we were assigned exciting tasks that allowed us to take full ownership and contribute to domains beyond our college majors. This internship experience has been enriching, and challenging both personally and professionally. Here is a detailed account of our individual experiences as Founding Force interns at Fieldmobi.

It’s hard to believe that two months have already flown by. Having previously interned in corporate environments, this experience at Fieldmobi, a dynamic startup, has been a refreshing change.
One of the most exciting aspects of working in a startup, especially in its early phases, is the constant evolution. The environment at Fieldmobi is so dynamic that things change rapidly, bringing new challenges and tasks every day. There’s never a dull moment, and you’re never stuck doing the same thing, which keeps the experience engaging and far from monotonous.
In my two months here, I’ve been involved in a variety of tasks across different domains. I’ve conducted in-depth competition analysis to better understand our market positioning, engaged with customers to map out user journeys and identify pain points, and even worked on the technical side, creating visual dashboards for analytics and testing the product.
Apart from the diverse work experience, what truly made this internship worthwhile were the people. The supportive and fun work environment created by my colleagues was a constant source of relaxation and stress relief. Being away from home is always challenging, but the team at Fieldmobi made me feel right at home. They not only shared their knowledge and wisdom but also their food and personal experiences, which was incredibly heartwarming. I will cherish the birthday parties, outings, and dinners, which were some of the best memories I’ve had in a new city.

Transitioning from college to the workplace is a pivotal moment in anyone’s professional life. For me, this transition was marked by my internship at Fieldmobi. The experience has been gratifying, greatly increasing my understanding of how to build a B2B SaaS firm.
From the start, I worked on gathering market data and assuring compliance with software export requirements. The sense of ownership I received was both inspiring and motivating. This hands-on work marked a key transition from academic theory to real-world business practices, introducing me to ideas like ideal customer profiles (ICPs) and competitive analysis.

Greetings! I am Sanskar Bhaisare, a BBA graduate from the Indian Institute of Management, Rohtak. My internship experience at Fieldmobi was truly remarkable. It provided me with invaluable insights into the inner workings of a business and the dynamics of an offline work environment, being my first such experience.
As a founding force intern, I had the opportunity to contribute across multiple domains, including marketing, sales, and testing. One of my primary responsibilities involved conducting competitive analysis for companies providing field service management tools, as Fieldmobi is a B2B SaaS company that digitizes and manages the unstructured aspects of the value chain. I identified various use cases across industries and researched potential clients from sectors such as tour operators, event management companies, and construction firms. Additionally, I played a crucial role in testing our portal to ensure its readiness for launch.
Beyond the professional realm, the internship experience was truly enriching, largely due to the chill work environment. My internship at Fieldmobi was a transformative journey filled with excitement, challenges, and immense personal growth. From the moment I stepped into the vibrant office, I knew this experience would profoundly shape my professional and personal outlook.
One of my primary roles was conducting thorough market and competition research for our product, Frontline, focusing on equipment tracking, maintenance management, and issue reporting. This research was pivotal in refining our product’s market positioning.
On the creative front, I was involved in social media content creativity and execution, which enhanced our online presence and engagement. Additionally, I worked in sales, targeting domestic clients in India, particularly in the construction and real estate industries and the Event management industry. I also explored global markets, especially in the US road repair and maintenance sector. Through sales, I learned that rejections are a part of life. Each ‘no’ was an opportunity to refine our approach and improve our pitch. It was a valuable lesson in resilience and persistence.
Beyond professional experiences, I forged meaningful connections with my colleagues. The close bonds formed through shared meals, engaging conversations, and insightful discussions about navigating the startup world and ensuring the product’s success provided a supportive and collaborative environment that fostered my growth. The company’s open environment allowed me to express myself fully, share ideas, and contribute without hesitation.
